Description: The looped parking area that is off to the right when heading up on Black Mountain Drive is the cruising area. Guys, drive through and park here. 95% of people here will be cruisers. The other 5% are legitimately using the lookout - they will be pretty easy to spot.
Guys either wait in their cars or explore the various paved and unpaved walking tracks around the car park and down the hill. There’s been no toilet block for about 20 years now.
The tower is closed and might reopen in 2027. Until then, plenty of tourists will stop at all lookouts, so please maintain discretion in the car park and the lookouts, especially during the day.
