Description: Driving beachside along Tweed Coast Road on your left, you will see a wooden nature reserve sign. That is the start of the nude area. If you continue toward to corner or the road, you will see another one facing the cars in the opposite direction. That is is end of the nude part. When walking into the tack just prior to getting to the beach, climb through the white wire fence and into the tracks and continue to walk, that’s the cruising area. It will take you to the beach, and you will see others along the way.

The cyclone and recent ocean swells have completely changed the layout here. You can't walk along the beach and see up every cruise spot anymore. Instead, you have to climb up the sand bank and come in and out to access the bush trail. Still lots of private spots along the trail.
The cruise spot is 2km north of Wooyung Beach Caravan Park.
A very unspoiled, natural beach, Wooyung is very quiet with plenty of trees to lay a towel under. Smell the clean salt air, feel the clear warm sun, and dip your toes in the clean ocean water.
If travelling from Pottsville, head south over the bridge in town then along Tweed Coast Road for 5kms. Men in the know come here to relax & unwind, away from the madding crowds.
