Description: Lachlan Swamp/Dickens Drive is one of 2 areas in Centennial Park for cruising and is best for daytime cruising until dusk.
Dickens Drive (to the east of Loch Ave) bisects the cruising area, which consists of a toilet block adjacent to a belt of trees to the north, and a paperbark forest called Lachlan Swamp to the south.
The entrance to the swap is near the labyrinth, and the main swamp inside is fenced and gated but you can still play in bushy areas on the swamp perimeter, and there are tracks into the middle of the swamp if you want a little more privacy.
After dark most of the action happens at the Top Oval (Reservoir Fields on Google Maps). Find the stairs going down the oval, You can park on Oxford Street and walk there discretely.
