Description: Kaligula, the Caligula, is one of the very first gay clubs in Bulgaria which was opened right after the fall of communism in the early 1990's, and it is the only legendary gay club which has survived over the years. Kaligula first attracted public attention many years ago with its legendary live sex shows on stage, and also its drag shows featuring famous names such as Ursula. Nowadays the club has been completely refurbished but it still preserves some of its old time naughtiness with live cabaret acts every night at 1am, 3am and 5am. There are also live sex shows on stage on special nights with performers from Bulgaria and Europe. Kaligula is the best and only place in Plovdiv to pick up a date for the evening or to have fun in the club's own darkroom.
