Description: A nude beach in Salmon Arm is fairly private and has good action in the summer. Just installed a Gloryhole. Been taken down; it’s inappropriate for an open beach with so much exposure to the lake traffic. A heat score for sure.RCMP are now there a lot, handing out fines for trespassing over the tracks; someone was recently arrested for trespassing over the tracks, and apparently was previously fined. The RCMP is taking this matter seriously; CP owns it.
Honourable Omar Alghabra announced amendments to the Contraventions Regulations, with regard to provisions under the Railway Safety Act that increase the fine amounts for trespassing onto property where railway lines are located and for not giving way at railway crossings.
With these amendments, the fine for trespassing on property where railway lines are located has increased from $100 to $500, while the fine for not giving way at railway crossings has increased from $150 to $750. Contravention tickets reflecting these increased fine amounts can be issued starting today.
