Description: Herring Cove Provincial Park Reserve provides a rough, rugged, scenic walk just 10 minutes outside of Halifax. Clamber over large granite rocks that drop off into the sea or follow the easier, non-maintained path above. Though not well known, this short hike provides a sample of stereotypical Nova Scotia rugged landscape. Great place to get away to to enjoy the sound of the sea and bask in the sun on a warm summer day.
