Description: A quiet highway rest stop on the reservoir with a small beach and trails. Portable potties and picnic tables. Can be touristy just outside of Grand Bend. Boat launch across the reservoir draws boaters and anglers so beware of your surroundings and visibility from all angles. Park and walk through the memorial forest trees to the far corner of the lawns. There's a forested trail there not on the maps. Lots of room to play hidden behind the evergreens in the woods. Parkhill Lions Club maintains the park and gardens so be mindful that not everyone here is cruising. Nice place to go for a dip or paddle too. There's a trash can near the picnic tables and benches at the parking lot edge, USE IT.
