Description: Port Burwell Provincial Park has a quiet, uncrowded nude area located away from the crowded, clothed beach near the parking areas. (No hot springs). Drive to parking lots 4-5. Actually, although access is through the park, the nude beach is located on private land west of the park and is not subject to park rules. It is a good hike to a nude beach. The owner allows nudity. Rangers who patrol the provincial park beach section by dune buggy turn back at the park boundary as they have no jurisdiction over the nude section. To avoid any potential conflicts, it is best to walk a bit beyond the sign that marks the park's edge, before disrobing to create a buffer zone between the park & nude beach. The beach is used by a mix of straight and LGBTQ, and the number of visitors to the beach is reported to be growing. The beach extends for several kilometres and gay men tend to spread out further south. There are restrooms and amenities within the parking lot 4-5 area.
Unless you like a really long walk, park in zones 4 and 5... bit closer to the boundary.
Note there is a day-use fee for entering the park unless you are camping there...you can get a summer day pass if you plan on visiting here or any other provincial park more than 4 times.
