Description: A layby with a wooded area separating it from the road. It is a rest stop with a hot food van at one end during the week. The wooded area used to be dense with shrubs and trees; however, the Council cut it back in early 2026, exposing the layby to the road and therefore removing any chance of daytime fun in there. They have done this several times over the years. So until it grows back again, fun happens (with greater risk) in and around cars, trucks, vans, and lorries. The cruisey area of the layby is the half closest to Melton Mowbray, not the food van end. At night, it's the same half but stretches a bit further along. No one used to do anything much in the wooded area after dark, so the Council thinning it out has little effect on nighttime cruising.
