Description: Enter through the main gates on Bury New Road.
There are trails through the woods that flank the left of the park, with lots of well-screened spots throughout, that lead into Prestwich Clough.
Be careful to watch your step as there are steep river banks. And be aware of the houses backing onto the woods on the other side of the stream.
There are plenty of benches and paths in the main part of the park where you can scope out other guys.
The entry from Bury New Rd via the steps (to the right of the main gates) leads to a pond and wildlife area with spots further down the main path, behind a bowling green.
The path brings you out into Prestwich Clough and the woods and graveyard around St Mary's church.
Here, immediately on the right is a fenced-off, overgrown road. There is a large gap in the gate for access. This leads to a hidden car park and the bowling green.
The driveway continues up to the Social club car park as does a walled path hidden at the rear of the bowling green car park.
The other entry to the park from Prestwich Clough is through a squeaky swing gate. The path to the right takes you to the fence line at the rear of the park, with views into the Clough around a grassed slope which is out of sight from the rest of the park.
Easier to cruise in the evening and in the Summer.
Venture into the Clough and around the cemetery for more guys on the prowl.
