Clayhill Car Park is signposted as a picnic area and a 'pay and stay' car park. There is a yellow height barrier, and the turning is just before 'Combat Splat'. The wooded areas are fenced with barbed wire. Best to walk through this area to the rear of the wooded copse, where there is plenty of open space and secluded regions. Be aware of dog walkers and families during daylight hours.
*** Flooding has affected some areas. not as easy to get to the woods. Alternatively, use the car park by the bridges; Walk up on bridge, see if there’s anyone there.
