Description: Tawhitokino is a "clothing optional" beach. Forty-five minutes from Auckland, this beach is only accessible from the adjacent Kawakawa Bay and only at more than an hour each side of high tide due to remoteness and access to it. It will take on average about 20 mins to walk from the car parking area. This is a regional park run by the Manukau council now supercity council.
