Description: Very large reserve fronting onto Lake Karapiro. A long access road into the reserve from SH1 leads to the main reserve area. The access road then forms a loop around the boat ramp & toilet block. To the southern end of this loop, overlooking the lake & boat ramp, is a dirt parking area. People parked here are usually up to play in the bushes nearby. Alternatively continue along the access road to the northern end of the reserve where there is a turning loop and another dirt parking area leading off up the hill with bushes at the top.
