Description: Cañada del Oro Riverfront Park is a public park in Oro Valley, just northwest of Tucson, set along the Cañada del Oro Wash with scenic views of the surrounding desert and nearby mountains. The park offers walking paths, sports fields, bleachers, dugouts, playgrounds, and picnic areas. The main trail system associated with the park connects to the larger Cañada del Oro River Park trail network. The primary multi-use trail along the wash is about 11 miles long. Inside Riverfront Park itself, there are only short walking paths (for example a loop of about 0.7 miles), but those connect to the much longer regional trail system. There is a pretty large, and occasionally, mostly empty parking lot. In addition there are covered gazebos and public restrooms.
