Description: A 4-minute walk from Fort Lauderdale Beach, this lively hotel catering to gay men is a mile from both Hugh Taylor Birch State Park and the plantation-style Bonnet House, which dates from
the 1920s.
Streamlined, modern rooms feature free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs, as well as minifridges, microwaves, and coffeemakers. Upgraded rooms add pool views and chic, minimalist decor. Bright 1- and 2-bedroom suites offer kitchens, dining areas, and living rooms; some include furnished patios or balconies.
Parking and hot breakfast are complimentary. The outdoor pool has a sundeck and a 1960s vibe. There's also a luxe spa. Minimum stay rules may apply.
Update November 2022:
The Grand Resort was recently purchased by the owners of the Worthington Hotel (located next door). The properties are now connected, so you have access to 4 pools and 3 hot tubs. Day passes are available for $35 and are valid from 11 am - 6 pm. Call first as they have some blackout dates for day passes when the resort is full or for special events.
They now have a walkway that connects the Grand Resort to the next-door Worthington Resort. The front desk for both hotels has moved to The Grand as well, so all check-ins happen at The Grand.
