  • Description: The Alcazar Resort is one of three resorts that make up the largest clothing-optional gay resort in the United States. Worthington Guesthouse (where it all started) and Villa Venice Resort are the other two.

We are proud to call Fort Lauderdale Beach our home. After all, this is "where the boys are". Combined, the three clothing-optional resorts offer 63 rooms; each one offers a different but comfortable style of rooms. The Alcazar, built in 1959, offers beautiful mid-century architecture, which we have preserved. All rooms have been updated and comfortably furnished. The resort is centrally located to all gay Fort Lauderdale nightlife, dining and shopping. Wilton Manors is only 3.5 miles, an easy cab ride or carpool with a fellow guest, away. There is a great variety of gay shops, bars and clubs nearby, which will enhance your vacation experience in gay Fort Lauderdale.

The resort offers three heated pools, two large hot tubs, three sun-drenched courtyards, and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the complex. We also have computers for guests to use, for email or to print boarding passes. We provide one free parking space for registered guests. Update September 2022: The Grand Resort and Spa (also located in Fort Lauderdale), was recently purchased by the owners of the Worthington Hotel (also in Fort Lauderdale). As of now, you will have access to the Worthingtons Happy Hour, which occurs on Saturdays at The Worthington. The properties are not combined as of yet so that will be the only time guests of the Grand Resort will have access to The Worthington property.
