Description: UPDATE as of 2/14/26, 4th St mangroves as we knew it is gone, again. Drainage pipe construction people have lined the entire west side with black plastic closing down all the mangrove entrances except for two openings by the boat ramp entrance. All parking but a few areas by the ramp are gone. At minimum this will take weeks. At maximum this will close the entire west side especially when all the litter is noticed. The east side has one trail along the bay but very limited parking. There are fishermen, sunbathers and squatters in the area so not everyone is looking to hook up. There are men of all ages and even hook ups with bi-sexual couples.
