Description: Cruising happens at both parking areas. The first one has primitive restrooms while the next one has a nature trail the park no longer maintains that offers out of sight play.
The bike trail can be busy with cyclists & walkers during the day in good weather, but at night no one uses it. There's no parking or trail lights. Cruising rules similar to LBL scenic loop & canal overlook.
The second parking area closer to the state park has a nice nature trail leading back into the woods toward the river. The state no longer maintains the trails and fallen trees have mostly stopped the use by hikers. Some trees back there one could get bent over.
