  • Description: Fort Howard was a military installation located on the North Point peninsula, overlooking the main channel of the Patapsco River leading into the harbor of Baltimore, Maryland, USA. Although militarily important since the early 19th century, its surviving elements and name date to the SpanishAmerican War. The park is open to the public to enjoy its many running/walking paths, waterfront views, fishing, etc. You can also rent the pavilions for parties/get-togethers.

There are ruins/dungeons left from the war. You can easily access them with the biggest being in the back right-hand corner of the park. Go to the back and up the small hill (there are two paths) and then you can go down into the ruins. You won't be able to access the lowest level unless someone has broken into it. The big building is the easiest to play in. You can easily tell if someone is coming and get yourself together quite easily. The other smaller dungeons are very easily accessible with less opportunity to play. There are two large stadium-looking structures towards the front of the park as you go left. The first one has a set of steps. At the top is an awesome place to play. You will definitely know when someone is coming.

There are paths that lead all over the park, into the woods, and along the beachfront. There are also some random buildings that you can not access.

There is a restroom but it's not always open to the public. Lately, they have been opening it when there is a party going on in the park. Also, they are not suitable for play, there is almost no warning someone is coming.
