Description: This public park has two sections. The first is the scenic overlook of the Delaware River, on the southbound side of Route 295. The scenic overlook offers parking and great views, as well as sunsets on the Delaware River.
The second section is located on the northbound side of Route 295. It offers miles and miles of nature trails along the Old Crosswicks Canal and Crosswicks Creek, where the creek flows into the Delaware River. This section offers clear, wide paths for walkers, bird watchers, and bikers, as well as miles and miles of winding, narrow paths for those who are more adventurous.
Note: if you are allergic to poison ivy, these trails are not for you, as then can be very narrow. There are also old ruins of a lock from the 1800s.
