Description: As of Summer 2025, you MUST have a Penn State ID to enter and use the locker room facilities. However, an ID isn’t needed to enter the building. There is the option of getting a day pass from the IM Building, but they are strictly controlling access to the building. No more finding an open door and sneaking in. Post-renovation Rec Hall is no longer functioning as the de facto bath house in State College. Stays kinda busy so be careful. Rec hall also closes fairly early at 10 pm, so no go after that. There is a good amount of staff there at all times as well.
