Description: Little Mountain Park is a large wooded park in Southeast Mount Vernon. The park has several places to park a car, two lookouts on the top of the Mountain, and miles of hiking trails, some of the trails are well used, some trails are rarely used at all. It is easy to find a secluded place if you find the right trails, or just leave the trail and disappear in the woods. The parking lot at the top has been awarded "Mount Vernon's best place to park. There are outhouses throughout the park.
