Description: Large rest area and former Tourist & Visitor Center as it is on the approach to Bourne, the Cape Cod Canal, and the Bourne Bridge. There are multiple parking areas (one designated for trucks), open picnic areas a d ivered and un o eded picnic tables, and a center island with a closed-up visitor center building. The entire wooded perimeter is accessible. Some treed areas in the center area. The entire rest area is set atop a hill. The entry ramp up and exit ramp down are long, run parallel to MA-25, and are well-lit. The rest of the place is in complete darkness (save moonlight on a clear enough night). There is one HP oversized and 6 regular Port-a-Johns immediately on the right as you follow the sign towards and into the car's parking area.
