Description: Toilets have now been demolished but a perfect site as a path in the left-hand corner as you look at the fields behind has always been the place to go anyway. Plenty of cover and very secluded from being seen on the A40, just south of Monmouth on the northbound carriageway. About half a mile south of the Monmouth tunnels. If you walk down the steps and then to the left, there is a fence. Climbing over this fence, there is a path that leads along a brook, really discreet here and it eventually goes under the road bridge if you want even more cover. The area is quite wooded and this is the perfect place to hook up in the daytime. Lots of activity under the road bridge and on the wooded path. All signs leading to the layby have also blacked out the toilet signs. Please note, the toilet block is now demolished but don’t let this put you off it’s perfect for fun over the fence in the corner. The layby/picnic area is still open. Action still occurs in the woodland during the daytime.
