Area: Located at Dunmore, about 5 km north of Kilkenny City, in a quiet semi-rural area off Bleach Road. The park is surrounded by countryside, woodland and open land, with the Dunmore recycling/civic amenity site nearby. It was formerly a municipal landfill and has been redeveloped into a large biodiversity and recreation park with walking trails and open green areas.
